A commune in the Côtes-d’Armor has asked a druid to treat the small or big sores of its inhabitants. France 3 tells you more.
Villages deprived of doctors. La Roche-Derrien is not an isolated case in France. “At La Roche, there is a real lack of doctors. It would take two.” says a local resident. But the solution used to counter this observation should make the buzz. The mayor has decided to call on a druid. A modern-day Panoramix named Gwenmaël.
A complement and not an alternative
The druid claims to be able to heal but does not want to be considered a doctor. “I am not going to substitute myself for a doctor. I am not a doctor. We are going to do a job that will make it possible not to have a migraine or something else all the time. I am rather complementary to a doctor”, said Gwenmaël. The municipality had left an announcement on a website to look for a doctor. Announcement remained a dead letter. This druid is a great opportunity to be publicized. Without forgetting the fundamental subject which concerns all the French countryside: medical desertification.
