At 59, Catherine decided to quit her job, go back to her studies and pursue her true passion: cooking. Since then, his chocolate mousse has taken him to Japan. She tells.

It was on the advice of her son that Catherine had the click to live from her passion. Close to sixty, she decided to embark on her professional retraining and enroll in a cooking school. “The students all called me mom“, she laughs. For a year, Catherine therefore took her classes while going to a pastry laboratory which confirmed her desire to make them.
The success of chocolate mousse
Shortly after obtaining her diploma, Catherine will take part in a chocolate mousse competition in Paris, which she will win. “I thought I was going to pass out“, she recalls. This consecration will allow him to go and live in Japan to make his chocolate mousse there. A great departure into the unknown. “We left with our 150 kilos of luggage“, says Katherine.
His change of life made him realize that there was no age to decide to live from his passion. “In fact, at each age group, in France in any case, we are put in a box“, she regrets.
